Out Of Controll In Venice was released as part of Egill Sæbjörnsson’s representation of Iceland at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017, commissioned by The Ministry of Culture in Iceland and The Icelandic Art Center.
The album is written and produced by Egill Sæbjörnsson and mastered by Finnur Hákonarson in Hljóðriti Studios, Iceland.
The album is written in collaboration with Egill Sæbjörnsson’s two imaginary friends, the trolls Ugh & Boogar as a part of their joint installation Out Of Controll In Venice that consisted of 4 columns

Together these four parts created the world around Ugh & Boogar. People either visited the installation, heard the music somewhere, bought the merchandise or experienced it at a friend’s house 5 years later or saw the social media campaign that started 10 weeks prior to the opening at the Icelandic Pavilion in Venice.
